He then completed his doctorate on a criminal procedure topic. While completing his doctorate, he also worked as a research assistant at a criminal law chair at the Bucerius Law School. During his legal clerkship, Dr. Christoph Henckel focused on (white collar) criminal law as well – including training periods at the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection in Berlin and at Eurojust in The Hague. After being admitted to the bar, he initially worked in a nationally renowned law firm for white collar criminal law in Cologne. In particular, he gained extensive experience in advising and representing companies in crisis situations.
The constant confrontation with new and complicated issues and areas of law inspires Dr. Christoph Henckel every day anew. This passionate basketball player is also an unwavering team player in his professional life.
